As a Gangrel, Violet doesn't quite fit the mold. Violet came to Chicago in July of 1930 as a 40 year old Vampire fleeing a cruel sire in Detroit. She doesn't talk about "The Bastard" and refuses to name him, claiming that she bears no likeness to him. Violet, under the name Lily, fought in the War for Chicago at its very end and was the first to be named "Unclaimed" - meaning that while she was not a native-born bloodline, hers was not an Immigrant Bloodline.
