Personal history

Son of Meteor Dazzle, a notable and capable sorcerer from a long linage of magically skilled unicorns. His mother Vibrant Dawn was another unicorn noble from a prestegious family herself. Upon reaching maturity and demonstrating magical prowess he tutored under his uncle until he recieved word of his father's disapperance and that he was wanted by the Bannermanes for reasons that they refused to disclose to the rest of his family. The ensuing rumors disgraced and devastated the status of his family. Despairing and unable to find any trace of his father, Ardent left home looking to restore the honor of his house through deeds.

Motivation

Proud, confident, a touch arrogant. Ardent Star considers himself a capable spellcaster and is always looking for opprotunites to further his magical talents. He is touchy about his family history and has a long memory for insults against him. While a capable tactician he has occasionally underestimated the plans of others outside of the battlefield and when caught by surprise can make poor decisions.
