Personal history

Camus was born and raised in a noble family to be a noble, although his chances were slim to inherit anything his family held out hope one of the children would. With a silver spoon in hand Camus was never happy, he was born to do more than gock around and make friends who would sooner exploit him then help. This drive drove a wedge in the relationship with his parents and as soon as he could he would set out to learn and experience as much as possible in the vast expanse that was the ocean.
 
Camus's first endeavor was to learn a trade,something his parents opposed. Given his names recognition most of his own people refused I'm teachings,and so he did the only thing he could. He began to flag down ships, offering labor for training in trades and skills, picking up many tricks of the trade in different crafts. Eventually a chef on a touring ship found Camus to his liking and took him under his wing, for years he studied under this chef, finally earning a title of his own. Having met his first goal Camus bid farewell to his mentor his parting words an example of his drive. "Ill come back,I will grow and learn, experience things you could never imagine and then i will serve them to you! ill make you a meal to die for!"
 
 
Camus's next goal was that control the very waters he lived in, at least to some extent. This is what had brought Camus to his current temple. A small group of monks who had mastered the ways of elemental magic though willpower and inner peace. He was more concerned with the power he could gain but he still was accepted in. It was years of studying,meditating and attempting to become one with the ocean and sky. With every lesson Camus's mastery over the elements grew along with his spirit. He learned much of the ocean life and all life, how it fights to survive, and how the circle of life can take it away. This is when Camus vowed to never take a life that was being lived to its fullest, to never take a life with the same spark he saw in himself. What would feel like a short time for Camus would be nearly 20 years, only a blink in the life of an Elf. His years of dedication had thought him many things he would never forget but mostly importantly earned him the title of "Monk" A title that granted him the journey he still longed for, to go out and experience the world in the search for inner peace.
 
Today Camus can be found traveling the lands offering navigational support or culinary expertise. His search for adventure and inner peace still longing to be satisfied.

Education

Schooled from a young age in the fine arts and history of his people, Camus knows more than the average citizen before the sea. A lover of food Camus also took to learning the culinary trade,a tool to make friends, spread his name and enjoy his time. His skills with a knife have been able to grant him many a free rides on passing boats.
 
It was later in life when Camus was invited to study at the temple. A small group of Sea Elf monks who devoted themselves to inner peace and the control of water and wind.

Morality & Philosophy

Camus believes that everyone everyone should live life to its fullest,Lords,peasants,monsters and the like. He only respects those that do, even if they do bad things or have ill intentions Camus couldn't find himself to fault them and would harbor no resentment. He however has guidelines he follows. His temples codes of conduct and the local laws he tends to obey out of respect.
