Jason was born in the early age of the rapid expansion of computer technology, greatly simplifying tasks that once required extensive hours of manual labor. Luck would have it that Jason would gain a rather unorthodox superhuman ability as he went through his teenage years, Cyberpathy. The ability to communicate with technology using one's mind.

This skill, largely kept a secret by Jason, was used to play pranks at first, altering the state a machine would be in, opening programs, sifting through documents or other gags a teenager would perform given the capabilities.



Graduating from High School, Jason was offered a job in the business ran by his uncle, Lewis Frey, a nightclub named Club Caprice.

Jason moved to Millennium City to start his new career as the 'IT guy' of the place, but quickly got entangled in his uncle's criminal dealings with less reputable patrons.

Using his expertise in electronics and skills in cyberpathy, Jason quickly became a valuable asset to his uncle, which would prove to be his downfall. MCPD successfully discovered the cause of the break-in and captured Jason.

Fate would have it that Jason would never reach the police station, as the police transport was overtaken by the accomplice of the other detainee. Attempting to escape captivity, Jason would meet his demise and find his soul trapped within an amulet for several years.



Freed with the help of Mac Konvoy, Jason found himself bearing the responsibility of safeguarding the mortal vessel of his savior until his soul could return. This task marked the beginning of his new life, and the many intergalactic adventures to follow for Jack Mac Konvoy.
