Let me tell you about Zavian Evershire. This stuck up prick of a human if I can even call him that is a chef who came from Misada. An arrogant little piece of work with brown hair fierce blue eyes. He grew up with me. Learned the same profession as me learning the traditional basis of cooking. This is where our paths split. He learned traditional desserts and I Elvish. This bastard and I have known each other for a very long time. We would clash from time to time because of the differences in our philosophy and beliefs. However, the one thing that makes me absolutely livid is that in every single instance, he was always better than me by just a bit. No matter how hard I tried he would come out ahead by just a bit. I thought that when I gained magic, I would finally beat in a battle of food and pasion. Unfortunately, I still lost having not mastered the basics of my magic. Despite all of that, I respect him with every fiber of my being. He is a damn good chef that does not need magic powers to give his customers the experience of a lifetime. And I know that deep in his heart and very soul, he respects me too. All of the violent words, the pots, pans, and knives thrown at each other, and the nights where we nearly drunk ourselves to death because of each other, could not erase the understanding with have of one another, the abilities we share, the rivalry that bonds us together, and our love of cooking.
