Mystery 3: It starts out like a bad joke: Nixon and Elvis walk into a bar. It actually ends up being tulpamancy - the ability to create a psionic projection done by an out of work teacher who was trying to graft money to support her family. The only problem was a 'Kned issue' - she like to drink. Alcohol caused everything to go sideways and chaos ensued. Many spirits were agitated in New Orleans but we were finally able to resolve the situation. And possibly learn tulpamancy if we wanted. Alexander almost killed Kned. We need to keep Kned away from Werewolf masks. Oh! BTW, Kned is now addicted to a magically enhanced video game. And Maggie seems to have moved farther away from her humanity. Don't know if she's under anyone's influence (although it seems like it).

Darkness Falls

Final recap of Darkness Falls: After Kned is transported by the Russian Spooky Spooky, he 0finds himsel0f in an abandoned house 0flanked by the specter children. He #%$s himsel0f and is able to escape. Kned flees to the home of Nika DeLano and 0finds out that she survived a knife attack by the Russian ghost before her parents were killed. There is now a link between the ghost and the girl - a link that must be severed in order to save the girl and kill the baddy. Wolfgamg realizes that we have to use BIG MAGIC in order to protect the girl and draw out the ghost. To do so we need the Nesting Dolls given to Nika by her birth mother, soil from the chapel we destroyed, an artifact from one of the victims and a vial of Nika's blood. Alexander and Wolfgang flail their way through procuring the soil at the construction/destruction site that was once the chapel and Kned and Nathan turn themselves to the sheriff's office to convince him of the supernatural threat. Kned actually doesn't say the wrong the thing and with Nathan are able to convince the sheriff to hand over a piece of evidence from the past cases. We get back to the DeLano residence and are able to set up our trap at the nearby deserted house where we THINK the ghost will appear. Kned rushes in (of course) and Alexander is able to magic the door that slammed shut behind the careless Kned. Nathan is able to light the gas lanterns procured 'AHEM' 0from the local WalMart. Rejoined by the Right Reverend Bobby Jean Mystery (who is now wanted for questioning by the FBI and the IRS), Alexander, Wolfgang, Kned and Bobby put a hurting on the ghost and literally tear the ghost apart. We don't screw this one up and everything goes smoothly. On the way out of town (which we're not allowed to go back to BTW) Kned receives a phone call from a representative of Lock Ness Productions regarding Elvis and Nixon hanging out at a bar called the Recovery Room in New Orleans. We get paid, so Kned said YES!!!

Since we didn't get out of the church, here's what happened next (it's short): Inside church, there was a magic circle with a female specter of some sort • A woman dressed in a babushka with a knife filled with hate o Distracted by the girl (Nika) • Desecrated animated of bodies of children attack us (Pass through us) o Vulnerable to light Looking at the other parts of the Monster of the Week page for World Anvil, Nika is adopted and survived a brutal knife fight in Russia (Remember that the female ghost had a knife on her belt) I wonder if it's a Baba Yaga (the Russian equivalent of the Boogey Man [Thank you John Wick])
