Hildræd (hill-dra-th) Windsong is the grandmother of Arden Windsong. She has skills as a bard, which she learned when she was young and served the druids of Carn'Arrden. She once held the key to The Palace of the Somber Princess, but her eldest son, Garreth Windsong, stole it and tried to enter the Palace. He lost his life and the key was taken. Her second son is the father of Arden Windsong.
