Danae Travyre is the youngest daughter of a minor noble house from the Human Kingdom. An always pleasant, sunny dispositioned child, Danae grew up as that rare being, an unspoiled princess, jewel in the crown of her doting parents Elisa and William. This was much to the chagrin of her older more responsible siblings, Jason, her father's heir and the manager of the family properties, and her sister Jasimine who is six years older than her, and is happily married with two children and a full time tenured position as a professor of economics at the University of Delacrane in Arrynn.
 
Danae's parents were so smitten with their daughter that they envisioned a future for her in the Human or even Elven courts as the wife of a major nobleman, and in truth, Danae was beautiful and good natured enough to possibly earn such a spot in these courts. Her parents were careful not to spoil her, and to encourage grace and goodness in her at all times. They also decided to educate her to provide the best possible opportunity for the young woman to fulfill their hopes and dreams for her. Thus they hired tutors in all the arts and social graces, and had her educated in classical studies. They also hired an elven tutor to teach her the ways of the elven high court of The Green Lady in Fellalond. Her tutor, Daukumuni Rarama taught her elven and sylvan, and manners of the elven court, then with her parents full permission and funding, brought her to the elven court where she was a positive hit with all the court members. When she returned, she had acquired magical talents - something unheard of for humans who are doomed to practice magic through wizardry or through divine magic because of the lack of a Magei System in humans.
 
Danae has recently returned from the elven court and is on her leisurely way home, contemplating the next steps in her journey of life.
