Fenneck Finnegan Frostears; tailor, Revolutionist, fashion designer, social rights activist, former Prince, and as people know him today, elected President of the nation of Glitterfjell. He hasn't always had the greatest reputation but he has managed to maintain a high approval rating since he was elected following his decision to leave the Kingdom of Thymryu and restore Glitterfjell as an independent nation. He has had many notable partners in his life including the late Princess Nadya Malenthot, the late infamous musician and political figure Erikur Oblonsky, and controversially Empress Natalya Rasputin who is understood to have deceived and used Fenneck throughout their twenty year relationship as an undercover KAV assignment. He then found comfort and companionship with his current husband, trans rights activist, former choreographer and professor Lev Popov. Together they have one child, Fendir Frostears, and have consistently been a well-loved family in their country. Fenneck is known for his charming personality, his status as a queer icon and activist in the community, and his push for democracy throughout the land.
Fenneck Finnegan Frostears was born in Flottenheim to Leonid and Faina Frostears in the year 1805. He trained for forty-five years to be a tailor under his uncle Naertho Kashnikov before his parents were sentenced to death for treason. He had an affair with Princess Evelyn Malenthot and escaped into the mountains for two years. He returned and joined the revolutionists and helped liberate their small country. He moved in with his boyfriend Erikur and started being involved in politics as well continuing part-time as a tailor. Twenty years after the revolution Erikur proposed to him but Fenneck refused and they broke up and Fenneck went back to working full time as a tailor for thirty years. After an attack on the palace Fenneck and Erikur decide to be friends again and they become engaged when Fenneck decides to stop waiting for thiramin. Erikur dies at the hands of Natalya Ivanhoff, a KAV assassin, the day before the wedding was set to begin and Fenneck falls into a deep depression. He then dedicates his life to politics and helping his country as a ranger. Sixty years later he meets his thiramin who turns out to be the assassin Natalya. They have a rocky start to their relationship but they start helping refugees from Lenisily who are escaping persecution and eventually understand the feelings they have for each other. Fenneck learns he is to be Baegla's successor and starts taking on more responsibilities in the palace. He and Natalya become engaged and announce her presence in Flottenheim, knowing it could provoke an attack or action from Pufuktin, the emperor of Lenisily. Before the wedding Natalya decides to take a family into Arrallath and while she's gone the country of Thymryu is thrown into chaos as Natalya is accused of murdering the king. Nikoslav Damakos starts having nightmares that foretell of a dragon in the western mountains and Fenneck decides to go investigate and get captured by someone only known as the Mage of Shadows. Natalya finally saves him weeks later and they return to Flottenheim and their thiramin connection breaks as she is forced to leave Flottenheim because of the danger her reputation presents to the country and to Fenneck. Fenneck tries to focus on the messy political scene to distract himself from his grief. He discovers that Pufuktin cursed himself and Natalya and he visits Erikur in Arvandor who bestows Corellon's blessing on him to fight Corellon and liberate the rest of Lenisily. Fenneck, Jasna, Catherine and Vyndius decide to go and put an end to Pufuktin.
