Darragh is a Half-Orc who was raised amongst humans. A veteran, he wants to make good for bad deeds done during his time in the military and find his human side.
As I looked out onto the blood-soaked battlefield, scattered with debris, broken wargear and gore, the smell of blood and dirt in the air, I experienced a profound moment of realisation.
The slaughter that I had partaken in with a joyful rage not even a few hours ago turned my stomach. For the first time, I felt something other than grim satisfaction when looking on the remains of the enemy.
I was disgusted. This was not who I wanted to be.
And then I understood: No orc would feel that way.
I was human. Not only that, I was more human than any one of the battle-hungry, bloodthirsty boys in my cohort. I had finally found what I had been searching for all my life.
When I washed the sweat and dirt and blood off my hands that day, the skin beneath seemed a bit less green in my eyes. It was the last day of my military career.

Appearance
Facial Features
A very striking characteristic about my face are my blue eyes, one human feature in my otherwise very orkish face. Although my tusk-like lower incisors don't protrude over my lips as in most of my green-skinned kin, I do have a clear underbite and significantly larger lower jaw, granting me a boar-like physiognomy.
Furthermore, my strong eyebrow ridges and green skin make obvious at first sight the orc blood in my veins.

Contacts & Relations
Since I left the military, I have lost contact with most of my comrades there, although I still meet some of them by chance from time to time. I have two or three friends in my home town that I haven't seen in many, many years.

Retired Junior Sergeant, Fourteenth Cohort of the Legion III of the Order of Vorg
Family Ties
I never knew my father, nor did my mother ever talk about him.
My mother still lives in a farming village in a distant valley of the divine mountains
Religious Views
No god who allows the things I've seen is worthy of my worship. I believe in the spirit of humanity and the good in people.
Hobbies & Pets
Since I was a young child, I used to paint in order to keep my aggressive tendencies in check. The Paintbrush feels as natural in my hand as a Greatsword.
Speech
I don't speak much. Most of the things that can and must be said are said by others.
