Kira is a female halfling with red-brown curly hair, hazel eyes, freckles, and olive-toned skin.
 
She was born and raised in the small and quaint village of Darmok. Her family name is Hopesinger, after many of her family members taking up the occupation of Bard.
 
Like them, Kira loves to sing and play music. However, unlike many bards in her family, She does not feel that she is theatrical or outgoing, opting to sing for small groups or by herself in the forest. She is very fond of nature and all its creatures. She is compassionate, reserved, and fiercely loyal (“ Selesnya Conclave-I feel the pains and joys of everyone around me, friend or foe).
 
When Kira was a youth, her village was burned to the ground by Ixan, a fire weidling elitist and colonizer. Unaware if there are any other surviving members of her clan, she has traveled through the lands of Azure in hopes of learning magic in order to be stronger. She eventually became a part of the Selesnya Conclave, a cultish group concerned with spreading the word of “Mat’Selesnya, a mysterious consciousness they believe to be the manifestation of nature itself. All within the guild are considered mouthpieces of that singular voice, and they seek to expand their guild by evangelizing their message and adding members. The Selesnya message is personal as well as public: individuals must silence their own consciousness in order to hear the will of their guildmaster, a three-headed dryad who is the spiritual transmitter of Mat’Selesnya.” Kira became so enthralled with them because she was so young when losing her family that she craved belonging. However, she always felt uncomfortable with the forceful nature in which they preached their beliefs, and left the group before coming to New Carmile
 
 
In 208 Fifth Age she joined the competition to slay the Necromancer and joined a team of various types in order to begin a new settlement in the Western Dales. She becomes fond of her teammates, and becomes encouraged to strengthen herself and her new friends.
