OH MY GOD!!! One of our plans actually worked.
So the aftermath of Gough getting dominated was still going on most of the day, Yoru has been catatonic, Gough is enraged at his own actions and none of us knew what to do. I took Gough scouting to deal with his restlessness, and Clayton and Me'a were looking after Yoru. After searching east and the docks again we returned to Yoru completely cognoscente again, binge eating but she seem better (at least functional). She came up with a plan to infiltrate the shadow lodge by impersonating the foreman from last night and claiming to have the all of us under her domination. It was a good plan, and it worked...right up until we found out the foremen were in a love triangle with some guy and decided to attack Yoru. We dealt with them rather easily(Nonlethal except for one very unfortunate assassin near Gough), and with out breaking our cover. This plan actually might get us to the shadow lodge base of operations unscathed.
04:41 am - 09.05.2020Back from the brink
...I don't know where to start tonight. (sigh) We took the docks, it was "probably" the shadow lodge guarding it. The fight got much harder than it should have... Gough got dominated. Clayton cleared his mind for a moment but....he killed yoru.... I would have thought he'd at least go for "Me" first, o-or even Clayton but...(deep breath). I did manage to steal a spell from the cleric I dropped, I've only seen Sasha use this once. I managed to bring her back but her expression, I really need to talk to her. I...I just need to figure out what too say.
04:37 am - 02.05.2020Echos of the past
We got off the shore and a little into the jungle to rest for a while, apparently I passed out after swimming through the storm. Woke up to Yoru keeping watch, I decided to swap with her for a bit. She said she was hearing voices, It's got me a bit worried about her. Welp...I passed out on watch. At least we weren't discovered during the night. Dreamt of Aroden, I saw what happened to the Azlanti, what he did to keep the aboleth from gaining absolute power. It also seemed to be a hint of what's lying in wait on this island, an aboleth.

"Well......First our mission went to hell, then our ship gets attacked by a freaking sea dragon and we wreak." (Breaths deep) "Jeez I wonder what tomorrow will bring!"
