Hello fellow reader!
 
My name is Ulfgar Veit, a Dwarf Halfling monk explorer of the abandoned by ones and forgotten by others, Varsolaran.
 
Well, this journal is not formally written, nor a read for kids or to read before laid to you bed. This is a collection of scratches of my exploration among other comrades to the mentioned continent of Varsolaran, it contains some map, scratches and mysteries solved or unsolved.
 
Some of the solved mysteries could have been wrongly solved. We are not experts in exploration, we are adventures seeking to reveal the unknown.
 
So, the content here may be useful to you if you seek to explore Varsolaran land. Look for me (if alive), if you found something interesting that may help to solve one of those mysteries or if you want to discuss some of them for more details.

The uncovering of this language was a group effort.
Our fellow Grimkel Cragwalker and Enya first found some of the written and identify it by being a misk of elfic and draconic.
They started to crack some of the most common repeated letters based on the most necessary linking words used during any communication.
The partial cracked language was shared with me and when I found some of these texts I was also able to translate and crack some extra letters of it.
Now most of the alphabet is uncracked, only one symbol is missing, and it should not be hard for anyone empowered with this alphabet to identify the missing one.
 
Transation of a Official-looking document:
 
This document certifies the bearer to be Emerin Dor, child of Agandaur Dor, and subject to full diplomatic immunite during their travels to the lands of the Nai.

Alas, poor Myca (double dot). To be snatched away from us at such a young age (double dot). M… tears are enough to make the Elasimar burst its banks. My sorrow s… deep that my soul must surely rest in Thalmagar by now. May Jiilik clear the path for Mycas final journey to be a peace one.
I dearly wished I could be there for the ceremony, but my duties … these troubled times during my fathers own illness have forced my hand in other ways. Please accept my sincerest regrets that I am unable to attend.

The great bird is said to be the guardian of this Mountain. One egg hatches every thousand years

Horald. the Snake Doctor
The insect known to bring good luck to lost and wounded travellers.
It is said to be able to stitch uh wounds with its tail.
 
Focusing on The lizard wearing dark sunglasses is flanked by two feathered serpents in the fake sky
 
Translation:
Someo - The Mystic
The unseen master of the ethereal realm and middle sibling of Dulrr and Xinithorp.
Though associated with secrets, Shadows and hidden planes. Someo is typically depicted as Tssrrn. The feathered serpents Kirst and Krast are said to be Someo’s eyes in this world.
 
 
 
Focusing on The great serpent that is coiled in a great hurricane. A small ship is being tossed aside at the bottom of the constellation like a toy, and it's tongue is extended towards a small grove of three trees
 
Translation:
Dulrr - The storm Serpent
Some say that they can see the great storm Serpent coiled within the shiraling storms that come from the sea. His forked tongue is the lightning that streaks across the sky or strikes the ground.
Some believe Dulrr to be an aspect of or otherwise related to Serpentis, the former godhead of house Ilo before their exile to the desert.
 
 
Focusing on the great spider has a woman's face (with a spider's eyes) and long hair. It weaves a web that extends down towards the south pole and halfway up towards the north pole.
 
Translation
Arachnanale - The Weaver
The godhead of house Nai. Depictions vary but are usually of a long-headed woman or as a large spider with a single red eye. It is said that Arachnanale originally wove the barrier that separates the world from the primal chaos of the sea of creation. Some believe the world will end when Arachnanale finishes her task and Weaves all creation into stasis.
 
 
Focusing on The grinning lizard riding what appears to be a rocket comes between the archer and the Unseen One. A burst of is fire behind it, like fireworks exploding, and a small flaming lizard, like a salamander or a newt, sits near the fuse of the rocket.
 
Translation:
Xinithorp - The trickster
Though primarily associated with pyroinetics and often accompanied by a fiery salamander. Xinithorp is most commonly depicted as one of the Ghishveldi. THe earliest known shrines to Xinithorp appeared shortly after the arrival of the Dragons.
 
 
Focusing on The archer aims her bow at the wolf below her. A large cat, like a panther, stands behind her. Above her right shoulder is some sort of sprite or pixie
 
Blu - The Archer
Often depicted as a red-haired Woman. Bu is the master of the bow and patron of house Tir. Her feline companion Crowley is often depicted as a panther, Tiger or Lion depending on local tradition.
The variable star above her right Shoulder is her companion and rival chaos Fairy Fu.
 
 
 
Focusing on The hunter stands tall with his spear and shield alongside a magnificent stag. His face is stern and serious, and a bright blue star shines as his right eye
 
Translation:
Jiilik - The Hunter
The spirit of the summer hunt is the foremost deity of the elwen pantheon and patron of house Dor.
Jiilik is often depicted with a great white stag. The symbol of the hunt and the cycle of life.
The great temple to Jiilik in Lymael is Believed by many to be the last intact building of the former capital.

Calendar
 
The year itself is approximately 132.6 days long.
 
Human calendar: Begins a few days after the winter solistice, 8 months long with alternation between 16 and 17 days long
 
Elven calendar: The half of the year from the spring equinox to the autumnal equinox belongs to the upper (high, wood & elder) elves, the half between the autumnal equinox belongs to the dark elves (houses arachnae, serpentis and draconis). Each half is split into 3 months, a beginning, middle and end (22 days each) with leap years alternating between the two halves
 
Draconic calendar (reformed): 400 days long (roughly 3 years), divided into quarters. Each "Drach" is associated with one of the 5 sacred colours and one of the 6 sacred
NB: The reformed draconic calendar is about 35 days longer than the ancient/orthodox draconic calendar. Particularly old dragons typically follow the old count. Does not observe leap years and gradually drifts with respect to the human and elven calendars.
 
We Dwarves, generally adopt the calendars of Our trading partners.
