Her life took a pivotal turn one fall day just after entering her adolescence. While tending to her family's sheep, Claire discovered a young calf with a broken foreleg. Overwhelmed with empathy, she instinctively wished for the animal's pain to be alleviated. To her astonishment, the calf's leg began to mend under her gentle touch, revealing her druidic abilities.
 
For months, Claire secretly explored these newfound powers, mending the ailments of plants, animals, and eventually, people within her community. Her parents, upon discovering her gifts, embraced her abilities and encouraged their use for the good of Vintner's Hollow.

An elder druid was dispatched to Vintner's Hollow to assess the young girl's abilities.
