A nameless Firbolg without any significant accomplishments has been banned by his clan to seek a name for himself. Mockingly the elves named him Moohtaro for his cries and hopelessness. The god Chauntea disagrees..

Introduction to the Firbolg community
A Firbolg community lives in the woodland area just north of the Far South. With the neighbouring dragons in the north on the Dragon Plateau and the endless rows of mountains called the Northen Peaks in the east, there hasn’t been many contact with the other races. And that is how the Firbolgs like it. Most intruders are kicked out anyway.
 
Firbolgs live of the land and use only the resources that they require. They rather go hungry than put a stray on the land and forest around them. That is not to say they do everything in their power in order to keep the balance in the woods and protect their resources. Magic has always been strong in the community and as Firbolgs are one of the most powerful build humanoids, few choose to mess with them. Except of course the dragons, the orcs, the dwarves, the ogres, the undead from the far North, the fey and the various other monsters that seek to prosper of the rich lands of the Firbolgs. Magic seems to be in the water, every plant seems happy to grow there, mining prospects seem to be endless and there is ofcourse the mild climate.
Names
Firbolgs do not use names, because they are of course pointless. Your actions will define you. And so we come to this particular Firbolg, who’s greatest accomplishment was being chosen by Chauntea1 to heal others. Not even an action he did himself, not something he could be proud of doing, just something that he is and is done to him by someone else. And that without apparent reason, he is not distinct in any way. The greatest insult. Being defined by anothers action – even if that creature is a God. Not like Fire Tamer, Great Sower, Orc decimator, Lore keeper, Dragon Slayer, Big Dragon Slayer, Epic Weapon Maker or even Functional Basket Weaver -and there is a Mediocre Basket Weaver and a Great Basket Weaver.
 
Elven travellers, who often give their own names to Firbolgs, also gave one to Chauntea’s Chosen. Not out of pity, but out of mock. Moohtaro, or in Elvish, “ he who moohs”.
 
Quest
And so it was decided -again not by Moohtaro, but by the elders- that he should leave and travel the world and make a name for himself. He could start by getting rid of the undead influence in the eastern states, since he was chosen for that. In the following 200 years travelling the lands fighting evil, bringing balance, he became strong and wise. He has some accomplishments to his name, but now he won’t settle until his name starts with Epic. He’ll show them.
