Russ lives in Zelkor's Outpost with his granddaughter Amelia Bristleback and her husband Odo. Russ is missing both his legs; he gets around using crutches and with a peg leg on his right leg. Russ's legs were lost while adventuring in Rappan Athuk in his youth.
