Sanvi is a short, chubby Indian woman in her mid thirties. She gives off a friendly vibe on the first look with her brightly dyed torquise hair and warm smile ("Of course, my ascendant is Cancer!" - she explains). One would wonder what such a person is doing in the bleak cockpit of a transport ship, but her navigation and computer skills leave no doubts.
She is a natural with vehicles big and small, and pilots with catlike reflexes through the worst meteor swarms.
When the going is easy, she spends her time listening to her meditation tape and reading obscure esoteric writings on her handheld.
She knows her crystals and keeps a selection on the cockpit board for protection and good luck. She also carries a small handgun on her belt, just in case.
She doesn't drink or smoke, but doesn't mind others doing so. She views these people as 'carrying a big karmic baggage' and feels rather a pity for them than anger.
So why is she in space with all these weirdos? Well, she believes that we are not alone in the universe and she is keen to be the first to find out...

Are we religious / do we believe in God?

Esoteric. I don't really believe in the classic God but I believe that there are intelligent beings that we can't see and can't communicate with (yet).

What's our stance on other intelligent life?

I believe they exist and companies already found it but they are just not telling us.

Do you have any fears?

Being stranded / being alone / never being able to go back to Earth.
re: the fear thing, I think she just spent her whole life surrounded by people and the idea of not being able to talk to anyone or just being cut off and dying alone in space is her biggest fear
