Keisa's father died mysteriously when she was very young. Kanlyn Ediel, Keisa's mother, is also an ageless half elf. Kanlyn re-married a 27 year old Ulstin Hirnen, that she loves very much. Ulstin has accepted Keisa as if she were his own daughter (despite Keisa being slightly older than him).
Due to political realities, Keisa's three brothers, Taral, Erdaen, & Halya will inherit their father's estate. Keisa will be left with nothing upon Ulstin's passing.
