Personal history
On Anthis, Aero hails from the mountains South of Jorstel.
Gifted at a young age, Aero was brought into the Druid monastery of Asharra with lineages tying back to Kir Sabal.
Since leaving the "nest", Aero has become a Tribal Nomad (Outlander) to preserve nature, destroy unnatural earthly abominations (eg. Gargoyles), and one day hoping to find the Seven Shards of the Rod of Law. He, like other druids from the Asharra Monastery, are instructed to leave the nest to further anchor their connection to nature across the diverse world. Currently, Aero travels solo - preferring a connection with nature rather than with humanoid species.
Because of his upbringing as a Druid in the monastery, Aero is driven by a passion to preserve Anthis' landscape. Aero reveres those that have similar outlooks to nature, and deeply despises those that arbitrarily tear down wildlife. Due to his solitude, Aero struggles to connect with other intelligent species. Others have defined him as socially awkward, an introvert, and reserved.
Besides that, one of Aero's biggest flaws is his claustrophobia, making traversing caves and narrow dungeons incredibly difficult. In contrast, Aero's biggest strength is his self-reliance. Since he is slow to trust others and has lived off Anthis for years, Aero has accumulated strengths in living comfortably as a lone nomad.
In general, Aero reacts to debate/disagreement by trying to avoid it all together. This may mean conceding an argument prematurely and remaining a pacifist (he is the last to pick up arms during an argument).
In unusual situations, Aero is known to be engrossed. In an effort to expand his knowledge of the world, Aero passively seeks supernatural, unusual, and intriguing situations.
Aero has a twin brother, Kaze, a rebellious Rogue who cast aside the virtues of the aarakocra. The siblings have lost contact several years ago since Kaze left the mountains. An aarakocra, fitting Kaze's description, has rumored sightings across Subter under the guise "Black Bird."
Aero won't admit it, but he found himself on Subter in an effort to reconnect with his brother. He hopes reunite him with their nest and is concerned with the potentially dark path Kaze may be going down. Otherwise, Aero will publicly proclaim he is on Subter simply traveling as a nomad looking to discover diverse ecosystems.
Asharra: Aero's seasoned Druid teacher at the Monastery. She leads the monastery and often counsels the aarakocra tribes within the Jorstel mountains. Where she came from is obscured through time, but her declining age has been some concern for the aarakocra fearing to lose her and all her wisdom. Aero looks up to her, having spent more time under her guidance at the monastery than any other individual - including his own family.
