Grew in a clan of druids deep in the forest. Everyone collected shiny rocks for currency, a nice palm sized rock polished to a sheen is worth the time put into it. The concept of metals being worth anything is a foreign concept. Nature is precious and should be preserved. Disrespect is met with blows. Secrecy is met with suspicion.
I have a satchel of rocks which I've polished for trading purposes or to give as a token of trust.
