The third son and fifth child of Euritria and Cassandra, Basil was born into a world of privilege. His father's family runs one of the largest banks in Alsona and his mother's family runs a well know merchant business. He sets out to claim his own glory

Basil Rachiden is of the Rachiden-Wolfordshire families. The Rachiden (elven) family runs one of the largest banks in all of Alsona. The Wolfordshire family has established a widely dispersed trading network that sees his kin and their agents traveling over almost all of Emicara. Basil studied to be a wizard for a number of years and came home expecting things to change. Instead, he found myself relegated to performing menial arcane tasks for both of the family business. Feeling that this was something more fitting for a later phase in my life, he have decided to take up the life of adventuring.
