This shadowy humanoid figure almost emanates void presence and seems to have no issues travelling it or even through other solid materials. It was first encountered by Lyraëlle in the bridge of the Slumber (astral traveler), where it emerged from the ship's crystal seemingly after taking a rest within it.
 
It didn't seem to be very alarmed by her presence, merely stating that the test had gone reasonably well and that he unfortunately could leave no survivors as to warn anyone of the void king. He seemed almost sorry for having destroyed most of Captain Mercer's mind, but was surprised by the fragility of it. During all of the explanation, the creature seemed to still be learning what emotions were, trying to identify them as if sentience and feelings were still somewhat new concepts to it.
 
When it tried to take out Lyraëlle, Mercer managed to snap out of his trance to hold the creature back with the help of some kind of shield, buying precious seconds. As moments later it could be seen leading the swarm towards the remaining survivors.
 
When leaving in the escape pod, it seemed to be able to leisurely walk through the void and into the escape pod. Where it, pretty effortlessly killed the remaining 3: Lyraëlle, Graardor and Sheamus. After which it destroyed the controls and left remarking that this feeling he had now, would be called pleasure he thinks.
