Alexander Reigart was born on July 17th, 1864. When Alexander was eleven years old, his father Wilbur was taken from him during an accident while Wilbur was maintaining his ranch. Not willing to allow his mother to suffer alone, Alexander was committed to keeping his family's home and ranch safe. When Alexander was sixteen years old, a group of vampires fell upon his home, thinking it to be easy prey with a large number of cattle and very little in the way of actual protection. Alexander's mother, Beatrice, saw that men were apparently attacking their land, and retrieved a rifle in order to scare them off the property, or take them down if needed. Beatrice was unprepared for what she discovered, as she found one of the cattle being fed from by a man whose mouth was covered in blood. Shocked, Beatrice cried out in the dark, and the group of vampires fell upon her. Alexander grabbed the sword his father once weilded during the Civil War, and rushed out to protect his mother. When the vampires saw this young and fearless man who was rushing to protect his mother's life from what was clearly a group of individuals more powerful than him, one of the vampires in the group found themselves impressed with this young man, and decided to take him under their wing.
Alexander spent the next several decades honing his skills among the Kindred, finding natural physical enhancements in the blood that he was granted. The fearlessness that he had shown as a mortal was only reinforced as a vampire, and he was quickly taken in by the Invictus, who found themselves a potential Knight among their kind. Alexander reveled in the opportunity to prove his worth to others, and to keep those who would bring harm to those in his charge from doing so.
In 2008, Dallas fell upon distinctly challenging times for the local population. As financial opportunities dried up throughout the city, many Kindred found themselves leaving the city in order to discover new opportunities in areas that were not as tied to such outdated concepts as cattle and oil. It was during this time that the Invictus, and specifically Alexander, were pushed to the forefront to the city politics. Alexander proved himself a capable, albeit stoic, leader of the city, who was able to make decisions that benefitted the greater good, even if it meant less benefit for himself. This was shown again during the pandemic that impacted the Kine of Dallas. While Kindred had nothing to fear from a respitory virus, Alexander still believed that the vampires of the city had an obligation to take care of all the Herd, even those that they were not directly overseeing. Alexander contributed resources and aid to different groups in order to minimize the impact in Dallas.
Alexander Reigart continues to remain the Prince of Dallas, although not for the sake of power. Instead, Alexander believes that he has an obligation to make sure whomever would rule this city is as committed to Dallas as he has been to it for all these years.
