Personal history

As a baby, Gunther was abandoned due to the death of a parents. A kind, elven woman named Elizabeth Aurelius found him and took him under her care at an elven village. However, dwarves were not allowed with their kind. (Seems kinda racist to me). So Elizabeth had to hide Gunther away in her basement for most of his childhood, which is kinda sad. At least he got along with her son that lived with us.
 
On one day, somehow the village elder received news of a dwarf hiding among them. As the village guards inspected each citizens house, they found out where I was hiding. Elizabeth begged them not to hurt Gunther. The village elder agreed on one condition; that he would've had to live on his own and that Elizabeth leave the village as she had become banned by the village leader, Vayne Gunnar. Knowing that she wants no harm to befall onto Gunther, she accepted the deal. Gunther was forced out of the village.
 
Years later, after surviving the harsh life he endured, he found a town called Port Rise. He decided to find a way to earn some money, and landed a job as a carpenter. During this time, he met a fellow dwarf named Dusker. He offered to let Gunther stay with him until he had enough money to move out. Gunther had begun to have feelings for him, and vice versa. Gunther decides to tell Dusker about his past. Duskerdid recall about the terrible incident and explained to Gunther about the rumor about the "Dwarven Killer". a serial killer that targets famous dwarven families. He also remembered that the victims of the incident belonged to the Goldenberg family. Dusker thinks Gunther was targeted because of the status of his family. Gunther, apparently, is a part of the Goldenberg family, a famous lineage of dwarves that were blackmiths and crafters.
 
Dusker proclaims that Gunther will be safe here because danger rarely comes to Port Rise, so he allows Gunther to stay there for protection. One night, after a long day of work, and bunch of money saving, Gunther went to Dusker's home to confess his love. When he arrived, he realized that the home was in shambles, and covered in blood.
 
Gunther finds Dusker in a pool of blood, dead, with the words "YOU'RE NEXT" written on the wall. Gunther got pissed, and swore to get stronger and find the "Dwarven Killer". He wants to find the truth of what happened, why it happened, and after learning the truth, avenge his parents, his lover, and any dwarven families that are in danger.
 
The thing is...who can he trust? All that Gunther knows is that this "Dwarven Killer" just kills dwarves. For the time being, Gunther will hide his last name from others, including his friends (and Bjork), just to be on the safe side.
