Personal history

Vitali was born into the Shaporov family: Russian mobsters that are supplementing their ranks with weapons experts like Vitali’s uncle (The Arsenal), super-minds like Vitali’s Cousin (The Officer) and meta-humans like Vitali’s Father (Velikan, russian for giant).
Everybody expected him to take over the Velikan legacy since his bloodline had historically the highest chance, but he didn’t inherit the power. He grew up with ideals like “blind loyalty to the family” and phrases like “Blood is thicker than water”, so he naturally wanted to help where he could. He became a hacker and took on the villain name “The Hood”. He supported his family in the field by opening doors and scrambling cameras. While he got better and better, he recognized that he didn’t want his family to know about his new potential… He didn’t want his power to be used for crime anymore.
 
Now he started to go to college (which means living on campus and having a bit of time that is not controlled by his family), he took on the hero persona of “The Cloud”, a polar opposite of “The Hood”. While “The Hood” wears a military style (city-camouflage) poncho with a hood pulled up and a hologram of mist projected over his face, “The Cloud” has a vibrant green-yellow suit with a hologram of a green cloud obscuring his face. His hope is that nobody draws the connection between a boring z-tier hacker and the vibrant hero.
He can’t bring himself to break with his family and kinda hopes that he can just be a hero while doing favors for his family.
 
His story will be about finding a way to break the bad influence of his family over him.
 
Powers: He uses scripts to attack vulnerable systems in his vicinity and uses them to his advantage (e.g. closing doors to lock people out, scrambling communications, overriding altitude sensors of drones to crash them into his targets etc.). The scripts are stored on a computer that he has injected part by part into his arms, while his costume provides additional computing powers and sensors.
