Damir, a 60-year-old Weaver, embraced the disciplined life of a guardian monk in the Golden Weaver Monastery. Under the guidance of his mentor, Mishka, an intelligence agent for the monastery, Damir dedicated himself to protecting powerful artifacts within the central Orb of the Monastery. Amidst his training, Damir found himself entangled in an unusual dynamic with Mila, another Weaver mentored by Mishka. Mila, harboring an unrequited attraction, often resorted to misguided attempts at flirtation, much to Damir's bemusement and occasional irritation.
Despite the monastery's isolationist stance, Damir secretly befriended the residents of Wee Mac, a fishing village a few miles away. Among his closest companions was Robard, a hearty drinking buddy. One fateful day, news reached Damir of a pirate raid on Wee Mac. Frustrated by the monastery's refusal to intervene, Damir pleaded with Mishka to allow a small group of Weavers to defend the village. Mishka, however, insisted on maintaining their isolationist policy. Driven by determination and anger, Damir defied Mishka's orders and seized a small golden orb from the treasury, hoping its mysterious powers would aid him against the pirates.
 
To his surprise, the orb melded with Damir's hand and whispered reassurance. "Relax, Damir. I will help you protect your friends." Uncertain about the newfound voice, Damir refrained from meddling further with the artifacts. Racing to Wee Mac, he discovered the devastating aftermath—the village lay in ruins, and many friends were lost or wounded. Robard was nowhere to be found.
 
Faced with the grim reality that returning to the monastery would lead to his execution, Damir made a life-altering choice. Rather than submit to his fate, he joined the survivors of the raid and embarked on a journey to the notorious Kani island—the rumored sanctuary of pirates. Driven by vengeance and a newfound ally within the golden orb, Damir set sail with the survivors, determined to uncover the pirates responsible for the destruction of Wee Mac and bring them to justice.
