Physical quirks

Antaeus has 2 sets of gemstone horns. The first he was born with which has rubies imbedded into the curved shape, and the other of emeralds in the shape of antlers, which he gained when he was granted the jade.

Mentality

Personal history

Antaeus was exiled from his home at the age of 18, as is tradition for all summer T'Chai that come of age in his village. Their fire is seen as too dangerous and they are sent out with the goal of reclaiming their lost home from the elves of the pine, once lost in the seasonal wars centuries ago, and he was not to return until this task was complete. While many might see this act as cruel, Antaeus simply understood it as a fact of life. Still dedicated to his family in hopes that he would finally be the one to retake their home, he set out into the world to bring about that prophecy. Little did he know, he would succeed in his own way. With the discovery of The Oasis, Antaeus sent a message back to his family that there was a home where they could avoid persecution and practice their religious zealotry towards Ashai with others like them. Despite it not being the Pine, many in his family left to the Oasis to start their life their, however Antaeus was not finished. He had picked up other responsibilities in that time, and had new life dedications to others.

Education

While Antaeus did spend 1 year at Trelmar university on recommendation from another lost relative of his that lived a life outside of the village, Ant is not classically educated, and really only understands concepts he's worked with in his own way.

Employment

Antaeus is employed by Miyor Scorchgar as a construction worker and professional dog-sitter in the town of Proshima.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Antaeus has achieved the title of legend, become known as "The Everburning Legend" for taking up the role as epochal guardian and his dedication to the phoenix, namely Alra Adalla.

Failures & Embarrassments

Antaeus is still not great at the power he wields, and it can more than often go wrong or awry when he tries.

Mental Trauma

Antaeus was a part of the Alakai attack on Trelmar University, and after seeing friends and coworkers fall to such atrocities, he wishes to never interact with the problem again. Ontop of this, his mistakes in time magic have lead to incidents where he spends decades in others lives. This detachment from his personality and life caused him great distress at the time, and is not something he talks on easily.

Morality & Philosophy

Antaeus believes in destiny and fate. Being the first summer T'Chai in centuries to fulfill his families prophecy, along with taking on the power of the phoenix, the jade, and gaining the title of legend, he twists the zealotry of worship that his family instilled into him into a reverence for the gods and their greater designs.

Antaeus is devoted to the god Alra Adalla for giving him the power necessary to fulfill his family prophecy, along with fulfilling the role of epochal guardian given to him by his old teacher.
