Personal history

Varn is not well like by some of the customers that come to their establishment. Whether it be their curt tone or language, he always seems to rub people the wrong way. Varn is an acquaintance of Arma Lucis, albeit through circumstance. He has often blundered a way into conversations or confrontations that are near or around events that include Arma Lucis.
 
When Palewood was under attack by skeletons and the necromancer Amon? Varn was hiding in a broom closet.
 
When Arma Lucis was up north dealing with the Giants and Goliath clans? Varn was being held prisoner by a Goliath clan.
 
When Tarynhall was being sacked by the undead hordes? In ANOTHER broom closet, hiding. During the Undead Assault of Tarynhall, Varn vowed to become a better salesman and change their life for the better if he survived. Luckily, he did and shortly realized that after all events and trials they had been through, Varn was extremely fortunate to be alive.
 
After the events of the first campaign, Varn has now been able to open up a successful shop and maintain customers. He has learned that consistency and a just a tiny bit of friendly conversation keeps the customers coming back. Although he still rarely throws people out for getting too handsy with some of the inventory.
