A Peasant from West Bernicia who joined the Knights of the North, and fought to his last.

Born in the village of Two-Hammers located in the West Bernicia, Gareth was the third of seven children and was born to a Fletcher father and a former adventurer mother. His mother had travelled to Bernicia long before he was born, and was originally from Norsca.
 
Before joining the Warhost Gareth was one of three survivors, after his family was murdered by bandits. The same Bandits attempted to hang Gareth, who was saved by passing Hedge Knights of Bernicia. Gareth was however left with a scar under his neck because of this.
 
After ensuring his still living family members were safe, Gareth left the remains of his home to join the Lions Warhost.
It was during this time that he fought in his first battle, fighting with the Lions Warhost to defeat an army of Orcs and defend against a number of Ents and other tree Spirits who had been angered by the fighting.
 
Gareth served for a short time as the guard of the Head Alchemist of Albion, Lady Verity, before he was asked to protect High Queen Grace during a gathering in Oxford.
 
It was during this time that Gareth met members of the Knights of the North, including Sir Rufus and Fence, who taught him more about the Knights of the North and about Draco, the God of Justice.
 
Gareth joined the Knights of the North during his third gathering with the War Host and continued to fight amongst them until the fourth gatherings battle. It was during the battle that Gareth went to help allies fighting the Stone Giant Logrin and while fighting the giant, was taken by surprise by one of the Giants allies.
 
Struck by a fear spell, Gareth's mind was taken from him and he was forced to run from the Giant, while being chased by enemies. The enemies struck Gareth in the back and he fell against them.
 
His body was however found and collect by the Lions Warhost, who returned it to the Knights of the North. They in turn cremated his body and scattered his ashes amongst the mountains closest to the Two Hammers village.
