His origins are a mystery to him, his earliest memories were of the the orphanage that he was raised in. His education came from the streets instead of a book.
 
In his very early teens he found work on the docks as a porter and errand boy. He befriended the other porters who took him under their wing like a little brother. He may have learned some bad habits from them but also learned the value of sturdy companions.
 
A chance encounter with another half-elf named Alia would teach him about the beauty and symmetry of well wrought contracts. She would make him into a person sought out by sailors and captains alike for information. While he never handled the selling and purchasing of cargo he assisted many, for a small fee.
 
Alia not only stole his heart but revealed to him the divine light of the The Sisters and through her he took his first steps in becoming their servant and shield.
 
Alia left him and wanderlust stuck him, he left for the new continent to try and better his fortune. He believes the new continent is a lump of unformed clay for someone with the right drive to mold into something great.
 
His word is his bond and he will keep it sometimes to his detriment but usually to that of others.
