Born Jana Wilson, Daughter of Mary Wilson and Granddaughter of the last President of the United States, Jana spent her early life in ignorance of her true heritage. She was infact the daughter of the Atlantean Supervillain Hydra.
Her Mother was abducted by Hydra during one of his schemes but unknown to the rest of the world the two fell in love, Hydra unwilling to put Mary at risk released her and rarely saw her for fear that his enemies find out their connection and hurt her to get to him.
Hydra had always contended that he was the true heir to the throne of Atlantis and that the Aquarian was a usurper, in his daughter his claim was vindicated.
After being rescued from the V'sori by the Star City Omega cell, she was taken by them to be used as a key to unlock her fathers secret lab. While they where there the Omegan's found out some of the truth and reasoning that placing her on the throne of Atlantis could only serve to aid them in combating the V'sori they set out to do just that.
Jana's ascent to the throne was spectacular, raising the city from it's long underwater hiding place and recalling the Ancient army of Atlantis from stasis. Queen Jana was instrumental in throwing the V'sori from earth and preventing the ravaged world from slipping into a new dark age.
Though young and still new to the roll Jana was raised around politics and has been learning quickly. She is an effective leader with a trusted and loyal council whom she listens to for advice but in the end she makes the final decision.
