Morgan
Nightkin, Level 3

A stunted runt of a Nightkin, Morgan has endured a long history of being shunned by his own kind. Almost small enough to pass for human, he often hides his features under a wide brimmed hat he found during his travels.

First, let me welcome you to the Great Dust Bowl and tell you how much I appreciate your interest in the site. This has been an off and on hobby since I was young, and I am grateful to have a space to share my creative outlet. Writing is really only so much fun without people to share it with, so I really do hope you find something in my work that inspires you creatively or that you find entertaining enough to take the time to read.

As a GM I like to focus more on narrative drama and character arcs rather than hard game mechanics and combat. I want people involved in the story with a real impact on not only their destination, but also their journey as well. My goal is to write a collaborative story with realistic consequences and functionality. A lot of my spare time is put into research to add a layer of possibility to the fictional settings and situations.

The campaigns I am running now are helping develop the lore of the Great Dust Bowl authentically through multiple perspectives. Player choices and areas of interest tell me which areas of the region I should be putting my time and energy into, however as a tradeoff it does slow down the momentum of my games as I typically only run once or twice a month. My schedule is also a bit different than most as I work weekends and can only offer time slots on Mondays or Wednesdays usually 5-10 PM EST.

Feral Ghoul Bounty

by Morgan

Destination: Past the Radio Tower near Tilbury

Target: Feral Ghoul that has been attacking traders

Payment: Keep what you Kill

Summary: Set off under the cover of an overcast sky. Instructed others on common bird calls to use as alert in case of emergency. Traveled without incident to Tilbury, noted Radio Tower in gutted state with little left to scavenge. Found evidence of quarry and tracked to series of warehouses, one of which remains locked and untouched since the bombs dropped. High priority for return trip. Entered first warehouse and sprung an ambush. Several casualties, but no deaths outside of mercenaries not local to Homestead, (considered acceptable losses). Tracked down target as rain began. Executed with extreme prejudice after being located. Discovered cache of supplies and Protectron in working condition, (). Returning to Homestead to resupply.
