Eva is Layla's lover. She has been since before the Embrace. When Eva was a young woman, a lustful jock took advantage. Layla saved her and the two became friends. Eva had no idea why they could only meet at night, in secret. But soon the relationship took on new meanings and Eva is dedicated to riding this out to the end, whatever that is. She was recently raised to Neonate, but continues her relationship with Layla - just openly now.
