Finally, all the hard work that I've put into growing spiritually, emotionally and heroically is beginning to pay off. I've a lead on curing Celeste of her ailments (possibly by giving her the jaw of a dragon!) and with Angelo's help I have succeeded in freeing harpy prisoners of their terrible imprisonment. Angelo truly was sent to me by the angels.

I always thought of myself as a man of the world. I've visited so many cities, but only now am I realising I never truly experienced them. Just one afternoon in Norcastle as a hero - rather than a humble potter - has opened my eyes to the true nature of people. Did you know that Grugnar was a half-orc???? I should have realised all those books James reads have made him smart and wise. It's going to take ages to change all of my comic books, if anything I'm a little relieved I dumped my remaining stock across the river.

With each passing day I grow stronger, but why? Xera tells me the angels are not involved in my progression. If anything, they frown upon it. But Grugnar's staff presented itself to me and unlocked his almighty power. What's an angel to do? I really must stop promising my soul to people I don't know.

It's been a tough couple of days for Celeste and me (Celeste especially), but I feel the physical and emotional challenges of this quest - coupled with the spirit of GRUGNAR who has granted me a sliver of his almighty power - have made me stronger. My angelic ancestors would be proud. When I get a chance I shall pray to my deva guide, Xera. I pray for a sign that I walk the good and just path in these troubling times.

This hero-ing lark is harder than it sounds, even for someone with angel's blood (like me). Does anyone I know seek blood and pain? It's really important that I speak to someone who seeks blood and pain. Not in a bad way, I assume.

The gods are smiling on me today, probably because of the angel blood that flows through my veins.

Delighted with my latest find, not sure if I even want to sell this one! Unique wooden Ta'latar figurine that looks just like him! Would love to hear from a fellow collector who could help me figure out its origins and value. Bit dirty (found it in some mud) but otherwise good condition. My new friend Reggie says it glows but I think he may be confused for he is young and new to the world of heroes.
