Appearance

Physical Description

Jerry towers over Gnomes and other Halflings, but absolutely nobody else. She's compact, stocky, and athletic, obviously capable of a lot of power in spite of her small frame.

Facial Features

A wide nose and thick eyebrows, as well as pointed, almost lupine ears, larger than most Halflings. Small tusks jutting from her lower jaw, visible when her mouth is closed.

Personal history

Jerry doesn't talk much about her past, and repeated inquiry into the topic is likely to earn the asker a fist in the eye. What she will admit to is growing up on the streets, in a village somewhere outside the cities. The unfortunate offspring of an Orc and a Halfling, she refuses to discuss either of her parents and claims that she's been looking out for herself as long as she can remember. Ugly and violent by Halfling standards, weak and tiny by Orc ones, she fit in nowhere and found little sympathy. Life was hard, and required quick wits and even quicker fingers. The young street urchin survived by pick-pocketing, shoplifting, and fighting for every scrap she could.

Other than such generalizations, the story of Jerry's life changes every time she tells it. According to her, everything she has was either stolen or fought for; even her name. She claims to have beaten a fellow street urchen for the right to be called "Jerry," leaving him nameless and humiliated. Before that, she was simply called "the Bastard" in her hometown, and still wears it as an ironic title.

Education

The only "school" Jerry ever attended was the School of Hard Knocks, and she'll insist up and down that it's the only education she's ever needed. As a result, however, there are large gaps in her knowledge of things outside her lived experience, and she's almost completely illiterate.

Employment

Jerry would call herself an "opportunist." The truth is, she's a low level criminal, engaging in petty thievery and small cons to put coin in her pocket and bread on her plate.

Motivation

Though not cruel, Jerry is mainly concerned with looking out for number one. She's after gold, glory, and all the comforts of life she can steal.
