Slightly stocky with well defined muscles in the legs but definate dad bod owner (think a slightly more in shape version of thor in endgame)

always smells like a fresh seas breeze unless angry then he smells more like ozone

other than the strikingly abnormal eyes of different colours his face is pretty normal if a bit weathered. there are slight bags under his eyes due to his relativly poor sleep when aboard ships

sometimes random sparks will just fly off of him, this becomes more frequent with strong emotions. he also glows ever so slightly enough so that if he pointed it out to you, you'd see it (and he is aware of it) but not enough to make him stand out

wears comfortable if baggy clothes of middling quality that are somehow always clean no matter where he's been (he is really proficient with prestidigitation) he also always wears a small necklace with a crystal that has been touched by lightning, he refers to it as a storm crystal and usually has sparks in a somewhat organised fashion around it

Personal history

From a distant and forgotten corner of the world Lysander was born in a small village to the arrival of the largest storm that part of the world had ever known, at its peak his mother was visited and given a Birthstone from a Being of immense power (His true father whose Identity remains a mystery). Growing up he was a strange but polite child with very intense eyes. every so often he would cause lightning to strike which nearly led to disaster at times and pretty well isolated him from his peers. he spent his time being homeschooled with a tutor that lysander doesn't remember but who taught him basic math, common and elvish however it always annoyed this tutor whenever he spoke in primordial (which came to him innately).
 
Once he reached adulthood (18) he snuck out of his house and found his way to a ship captained by a sorcerer named Tiberius. Tiberius, unbeknownst to lysander was actually his mothers cousin and an exile of a wealthy family with a curse from a primordial entity. After giving the captain Tiberius a false name, and deceiving him into believing he was the actual new recruit they were waiting for he allowed lysander passage with him. the old seadog identified lysander as a storm sorcerer like him. after about 5 years of travel and training, lysander left that ship and joined a new one. The reason he did this was because Lysander felt he had stagnated on that ship and yearned for new adventures not monotony on a merchant vessel and after 5 years he'd seen all that life really had to offer so with heavy heart he asked the captain who had become something of a father figure if he could leave. That night they spoke and drank, speaking in Aurian to avoid the crew overhearing everything they said to each other. They left on good terms
 
it didn't take him long to find work on a cartography ship, the Bellerophon. He felt more at home on this ship which was smaller and faster than the first one exploring uncharted waters. he sailed with that ship for a few years however he wouldn't leave this ship in nearly the same good manner as he did the first one. when traversing an area of ocean called The Tinted Waters the ship was accosted by a Siren however lysander wasn't aware of it until it was too late. one night a mutiny began, at first just a couple of people were killed and strung up without a sound, the chaos didn't begin until the morning. In the morning the half of the crew that hadn't come under the control of the Siren awoke to the sight of the captain, quater master and First mate all dismembered with parts of each making a putrid throne for the Siren. The siren ordered the people she had under her control to show no mercy and the ship was soon overcome in the turmoil. faced with no other option lysander slipped away and Prayed he would be able to swim far enough away as to escape the siren and make it to dry land. as he jumped from the ship he closed his eyes and just kept moving his arms like he was swimming. it was only after 10 mins of no resistance and no biting cold of the water that he opened his eyes to a pair of wings with crystaline feathers on one side (left wing) and feathers of a crimson fire on the other (right wing). This shocked him so much he just closed his eyes again and curled up. The next thing he remembers is waking up at the last shore rest he had been at before setting off for the voyage. he sat in the bed during that morning and convinced himself he just had a horrid fever dream. when he didn't see the ship as he left he reasoned that they just must have left him behind because he was ill. It was at that point he decided to go inland to find adventure.
 
Before he found this party he had found another group that he had spent time with. A man named James Mckernal had met him on the road asking him to join his crew, seeing no reason not to he agreed and was introduced to Emily lovecraft (a female human woman who despite being a wizard [at least lysander thinks she was a wizard she was actually an artificer] was Jacked and if her magic failed which admitedly wasn't often she carried a silvered greatsword which she was extremely proficient with) and Simo Decart (a lizardfolk Archer who can split a blade of grass at half a kilometer without looking) lithe and quiet Lysander didn't learn much about him during their time together but he swears at one point or another he literally discorporated someone from this realm with one of his arrows (though no one has ever believed that story). They had some fun did some small things here and there. The main Highlight was the time they turned a thieves guild into something that bettered society, where they only stole from the Rich and wealthy while harbouring the poor and teaching them skills and survival techniques while also financially supporting them until they either became self sufficient or the voluntarily left. however after that saga the group split up as they realised that while they had fun their goals didn't line up quite right, with James wanting to stay and watch over this new guild, Emily wanting to find a place where she could balance her hunting career with her opening a blacksmith and Simo just wanting to not be involved in society despite his new friends. All that mixed with lysanders tendency to not want to get tied down made him move on. This is despite James wanting him to stay with him and run the guild with him as they had become close during their work.
 
He moved on without saying a word to James, he wasn't sure he would have found the right ones anyway. after a few weeks of travel on foot and the occasional cart he found his way to the town where he encountered tales of Goblins kidnapping people and he went to investigate. from these Rumors he found a new group and began to feel hopeful about the future again.

Education

basic level schooling so he can read and write though he does struggle with anything other than Primordial and celestial, all of the words jumble (in other words he has dyslexia in the same way percy Jackson did)

Mental Trauma

Major Trauma from the Siren. He has dissociated himself from the situation and tried to make himself believe it was just a horrific nightmare, This allows him to stay calm on the surface and keeps him functional. He has never unpacked his experiences before though, hasn't even told anyone else. occasionally during sleep, or if put in certain situations the memories intrude and make him dissociate and panic. During these panics one of two things will end up happening 1, his wings involuntarily appear and disappear rapidly or 2, he creates a violent whirlwind that engulfs him. Luckily these events have only happened when he's alone and after an hour he usually passes out usually with either no or very foggy memories of what happened

He has a curious mind and likes to learn new things however a lot of the time he doesn't end up understanding things fully or more commonly he will learn something and be able to remember it but there is a block between that and being able to express that knowledge so to the outside observer he seems like an idiot even if in reality he could do something but just can't for whatever reason
