Kivon was named Adaamiel Lócendil, Adaamiel being their father-name and Lócendil being their mother-name. (Adaamiel translates to 'Daughter of Adaam', and Lócendil translates to 'Friend of Dragons'.) Kivon is their second name, the one they gave to themself, as all Elves do. Their father-name also later changed to Adaamion, 'Son of Adaam'.
