The AOD Guild's titular bard who is every bit the heart of the group. For some reason, SOW believes he needs to have water to survive...well, yes, but he literally won't stop saying it!
He is quite helpful, or at least means to be, and does his best to make sure his party suceeds in whatever goals their reaching for.
In Real Life
The Creative Swimmer
Ashe Patel was always an ambitious and creative person. As a child, he was a big swimmer and when he was 16 he even trained to become an Olympic swimmer for a summer. However, tragedy struck when he went scuba diving, got too deep, and burst his ear drum.
Since he had a few ear surgeries, he wasn’t been able to swim underwater because of the pressure and pain in his ears.
When trying to enter back into competitive swimming, he experienced severe tendonitis. He subsequently quit swimming as his time out of the pool was enough to push him out of the Olympic level.
Devastated, he spent the next year trying to figure out what was next in store for him when he started to get really into playing piano and guitar.
Musical Genius?
During his senior year of high school, Ashe started to become an electronic music producer, initially playing at small parties. By the time he entered college, he became the best local DJ in the city with his music being popular among underground EDM groups across the country.
He was known as simply DJ Ashe.
Diving In
He doesn’t play many games, and was only interested in the newest MMORPG because he heard you can be a bard and play music in it. He thought it would be a fun way to experiment.
In addition, when he found the extent of the nerve gear system, he chose to play as an Undyne to re-experience his glory days of swimming as a creature who can breathe underwater.
He chose the name S.O.W. after the underwater creature from a movie he likes, the Shape of Water.
