While near her stronghold in Aryn Springs, her Divine Smite ability is empowered and extremely lethal.

Due to the small mote of divinity she hold's in her mortal vessel, it is said she can cast Chain Lightning in dire situations.

Personal history

Paladin of Valinae, Illiana Theabrook has trained since she was a child to become a Sword of Valinae. She grew up alongside her friend Gil in the Order of Valinae. Together they pushed each other to be the best versions of themselves and became fast friends. When her time came to leave the temple, little did she know that she would become the wielder of River's Wind, a holy blade kissed by her goddess.

Early in her sojourn as a paladin, she met an unlikely group of friends in the town of Panival, along the Illendor and Elleryn Border. When the moment arose of citizens in need, she and the other members of an early Arma Lucis raced across the border and saved the sole survivor of a burned Aryn Springs.

Baroness of Aryn Springs, after her nearly 4 years of adventuring and saving the world along side her allies of Arma Lucis, she was awarded the title of Baroness by Farice 1st of Elleryn, the current Merchant Queen. At Aryn Springs she established a new town and atop the old ruins built up a new training grounds for Paladins and Clerics of Valinae.

The Immortal, during her adventures, Illiana encountered many enemies, some that could even be considered demi gods or aspects of gods. In two seperate battles, the first against King Apanath, she landed a killing blow against him. This blow led to the destruction of his material vessel, but the energy that resided in him found a conduit in Illiana. Infusing her with resistance to lightning and a strengthened constitution. During one of Arma Lucis' final battles, she landed the final blow against Xelinar's aspect that had climbed from the pits of the hells onto the material plane. As she landed the killing blow, Xelinar's godlike energy escaped their vessel and surrounded her, nearly tearing her apart on the atomic level. Someone though, she survived. Now infused with the energy of both Apanath and Xelinar, her vessel was no longer mortal, she was now one of the few beings on the material plane that was a demigod and immortal.

She was Illiana, the Stormborne of Valinae.

Employment

She has been a Paladin of Valinae for a majority of her known life.

During the peak of her career, she and Arma Lucis succeeded in aiding the countries of Illendor, Elleryn and the communities in the Northlands.

Once she returned to her Paladin Order, she set out to establish more Orders of Valinae. One in the Plane of Water and the other in her lands, near Aryn Springs.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Illiana landed the killing blow against a fallen god's aspect and the Giant King in the Northlands.

She was honored for her achievements she accomplished alongside allies during her sojourn and subsequently given the title of Stormborne.

Illiana is one of few known mortals to unknowingly become an immortal.

During Arma Lucis confrontations with Arma Tennebris, Illiana landed the killing blow against her evil clone who had been publicly masquerading as her for nearly a year. This happened in Arma Lucis' keep in Tarynhall, during a battle that rocked the city.

After Arma Lucis defeated Xelinar, Queen Farice of Elleryn awarded Illiana with the title of Baroness of Aryn Springs and its surrounding lands.
