Troika was one of the 3 dryad sisters that took care of the Serpent Tree. She has managed to separate some of herself from the tree before it was overtaken. She has been trying to hold it back, but is slowly being dominated. Soon she will also be consumed and the host will have free rein. She feels her mind being disintegrated.


 
Her sisters are probably lost, but as long as the tree isn’t killed they could recover if the curse was stopped. Apart from the tree there is a host infected, but she doesn’t know who. If the tree we’re to be destroyed, the host might still be overwhelmed and die. She herselfs prefers a solution where the forest can recuperate.
 
She was appreciative of their actions in aiding Drachyra and was willing to hear their intentions. After discussing the potential outcomes, she decided to aid them. If the tree is sufficiently weakened, she might be able to remove the corrupting spirits and make them temporarily vulnerable. Giving the party a chance to talk to them and try and resolve the curese diplomatically.
