The Gentleman - an anonymous member of a society dedicated to fighting monsters. He has been a mentor to Valdemar in the ways of a blood hunter. He also holds an axe over Valdemar's head - should Valdemar fail to control his wolf-nature, he shall come for him, and end his tale.
