Esther Crona (currently 19) was born into slavery 2 years after the end of the Last War (21 years ago). At the age of 5 she was purchased to work as a servant at the manor of High Elf, Crimson Sun leader and member of the imperial Council, Varyn Crona in the Capital city Korth. Varyn took a liking to Esther and taught her to read, write and harness her natural powers. He saw something “special” in her, saying she had a force power that is a rare natural talent. When she turned 12 she officially became his apprentice and trained with Varyn as a Crimson Sun agent, working with him to investigate and eradicate cells of rebel forces. Varyn, while secretive about the inner workings of the Council of 13 or Kaius III, would openly speak of his dislike of council member Haymen Maw. Varyn would say to her things like “Esther, together we will grow in power and rule Khorvaire and beyond”
 
Esther and Varyn spent the last 2 years investigating a rebel stronghold in the city of Fairhaven in Aundair. They became romantically involved with each other during this time. They believed they had tracked a rebel leader to a cave system outside the city. When they went to investigate, a masked man, believed to be this rebel leader, murdered Varyn and fled.
Esther took Varyn’s body back to the capital and now lives alone in the Varyn manor. She still hears his voice and believes his soul resides in his sword and that it continues to guide and train her. She’s fueled by vengeance for the murder of her Master and lover, and together her and her Hexblade will rule the world!
 
Organization / Groups: Esther is a High Inquisitor of the Crimson Sun and founding member of The Unforeseen
 
Items: Esther acquired a Lightsaber (sunsword) after killing a rebel monk in the rebel hideout in the Dragon Isles. In a ritual she transferred her Hexblade over to the new Lightsaber.
