Physical Description
Scrawny and small, like most of her kind. But she has a wiry strength to her, necessary to work the forge with any kind of proficiency
Body Features
Her left arm was amputated many years ago and replaced with a mechanical arm that Mehr regularly mods and upgrades. She calls it her Dauntless Gauntlet
Facial Features
She has several pocked burn scars on her cheeks and forehead from working in the forge

Personal history
Mother Ishi and father Tet were born and raised in the underground vaults of the Kech Shaarat, a clan beloning to the Heirs of Dhakaan. As lower caste goblins, they were impoverished and lacked most opportunities for scaling the social ladder
Once a strictly segregated society, the Heirs of Dhakaan in the past decades loosened some of their caste restrictions and allowed goblins to take up the smithing trade to increase the production of weapons and armour needed for their reconquering of Khorvaire
Mehr's parents both took up these trades, learning the skills that would allow them to make a new home in Cyre during The Last War
Her parents learned some of the trade secrets of the daashor (dar (goblinoid) artificers)
Family ties to the khesh'dar (assassins of the Heirs of Dhakaan)
Mother, father, and older siblings emigrated to Cyre from the Seawall Mountains a year after the emergence of the Heirs of Dhakaan. They sought new opportunities in Cyre, which was making good use of their goblin mercenaries to fight against the other great nations of Galifar. They worked for a few years as tinkers and smiths before saving enough to open their own shopfront—the Arms of Aram.
Mehr was born a year after the Arms of Aram opened, and apprenticed there as a teenager. Here she learned her family's craft.
Mehr does not know that her parents are from the Kech Shaarat. As far as she knows, they left the ancestral homeland of Darguun for the same reason many other goblinoids did—money.
She is baby of the family.
Education
Apprenticeship at the Arms of Aram, a family-run artificery by the Okhaals
Employment
Journeyman gadgetsmith at the Arms of Aram
Operative for the King's Dark Lanterns (Breland)
Accomplishments & Achievements
Won the "Up-and-Comer" award, which is given to the apprentice from Steelwright Street with the most skill and promise. Steelwright Street is the largest consortium of smiths, tinkers, and inventors in Eston that do not belong to House Cannith
Was extended an offer to join the House Cannith Fabricator's Guild after receiving local reknown for the creation of her Dauntless Gauntlet (as she calls it), an ingenious merging of blood, bone, and machinery that allowed Mehr to regain control over her artificery skills after losing her left arm in an accident
Failures & Embarrassments
Fucking up their last mission in Karrnath
Mental Trauma
Losing most of her family in The Mourning
Loss of her left arm. A freak accident involving unstable chemicals in her family's lab left her with a half-melted arm that needed to be amputated to save it, as her family could not afford House Jorasco's services given rising war costs
Intellectual Characteristics
Keenly intelligent, though not well-read. Prefers to learn using hands-on methods rather than drowning in heaps of paper
Known for her ability to take anything apart and put it back together in working order again, even if she's never seen something like it. Whether it still has the same function is the real question...

Family
Mehr was always very close with her family, both immediate and extended. And boy, is it one hell of an extended family. According to Mehr herself, she has cousins in every major region of Khorvaire. When questioned as to if they're, you know, actual cousins, she just stares at the asker blankly and goes "Cousins are family, yeah? And family is cousins," answering nothing at all.

Contacts
Rikhi Pol, a fellow tinkerer who also lived and worked on Steelwright Street in Eston. Wry and sweet. She taught Mehr how to bake. Rikhi had just been promoted to Journeyman Tinkerer when Mehr left Eston. They lost touch after that, as Mehr never returned to Cyre. She does not know if Rikhi survived the Mourning
Jalana Marivaldi, a tiefling mercenary who Mehr briefly worked with during her time in the King's Dark Lanterns. Jalana was proudly a sword-for-hire, caring little for the ideals of nations and their leaders. Last Mehr saw her, Jalana was fighting for the Aundairian army
Scuttler, a warforged freed from servitude at the end of The Last War. Mehr met Scuttler during the war when he was first created in Eston as a scouting unit. He is the first warforged she ever got to know, and it shaped her opinions about warforged and their rights immensely. She remembers him fondly for his sense of humour. Scuttler survived the Mourning and works, surprisingly, as a street artist in Sharn, Breland.
Fjorir Fjalarsdottir, a dwarven trader who plied her trade in Cyre and did business with the Okhaals. When they happened to be in the same region, Fjorir would bring Mehr news of her family back in Cyre. Fjorir has never been one to care about borders or the messy bureaucracy that comes with being a part civilisation. She does a decent amount of business under the table. Since their imprisonment in Karrnath, Mehr has not been able to meet with Fjorir to learn about what happened to her family during the Mourning.
Keech, a hobgoblin tavernmaster working in Droaam. He owns the The Rat, a pub that caters mostly to goblinoids. Mehr refers to him as her cousin, though the existence of any blood relation is questionable at best. Keech is known for having the patience of a saint and a tolerance for other goblinoids as broad as Lake Galifar, both unusual in a hobgoblin.
Sa'avo, a goblin spice merchant who operates mostly in Karrnath, but since the last famine he moved his business to facilitate spice trade between Darguun and southern Breland. Originally from Darguun, Sa'avo is very patriotic and enthusiastic about sharing Darguuni gastronomy to the rest of Khorvaire. Mehr has bonded with him over her taste for food from her parents' homeland. He is secretly a member of the Shaarat'khesh, an elite order of goblin spies and assassins. In this, he is an information broker, using his trade routes as a way of making contracts with those who might pay for the services of the Shaarat'khesh. Mehr is unaware of his secret membership.
