Physical Description

Wheeler is a tall, long-tailed and scrawny individual who is about as strong as she looks. She's clever and quick but not in godly shape. Otherwise she appears to be healthy, if frequently tired or stressed.

Identifying Characteristics

• One spot near her chin is sometimes compared to a beauty mark on humanoids without scales


• Her crest is very tall and flops to one side under its own weight as a result


• The membrane of her crest has a few holes that likely came from close calls with bullets, and the edges fade to a smokey purple

Special abilities

While she appears predominantly green Wheeler is a dual-elemental dragonborn, much like her brother. The red side of their heritage grants her fire breath, and Wheeler has mastered the art of spitting gas and igniting it.

Mentality

Personal history

Wheeler is from a dragonborn slum that was previously a small dragonborn only town on the capital's outskirts. It was absorbed in, and the non-common speaking residents had to adapt. Common is clearly a second language for Wheeler since she carries the typical accent for those who have draconic as their first language in the Central Province.
 
Wheeler used to be a petty criminal who got herself in to plenty of trouble to make sure she and her brother could keep up with his medical bills while trying to get him through college. She used her interest in alchemy to make sure she always had a guaranteed escape, even if it wasn't always clean. She took a lot of paid work through Rumbirds.  Her talents caught the attention of Marigold via his Obituaries who operate there. Turns out liches pay better than freelance. She climbed the ranks quickly and became one of the more effective Obituaries. She was training under Gal'Resh to become an Undertaker when she came to the realization that she was having a hell of a fall from grace. She jumped at the chance to join a cause like the Copper Fangs. When she left Marigold's employ, amicably, she also took Gal'Resh with her
 
Wheeler worked as a junk dog taking on the higher risk tasks and planning her own priorities alongside a partner. The party learned through Dizzy that at some point her partner was killed on an outing and Wheeler has insisted on working alone ever since.

Education

Wheeler is good at alchemy. If that means she has a higher education or not is up to debate considering the things she tends to make Go Boom.

Personality

Motivation

A lot of what Wheeler does is to try and care for her brother. She wants him to be happy and is severely aware of how he's not. Being this close to someone who is physically disabled motivates her far more than the idea of helping strangers, because she wants the world to improve for him. It improving for everyone else would just be a lovely side-effect.

Personality Quirks

Like many green dragonborn who stim she's both a jaw snapper and a rumbler, nipping at the air with surprising jaw strength that sounds like an alligator biting on bone and passing air through an underdeveloped air sac in her throat to vibrate it creating a bassy, low sound as a result.

Contacts & Relations

• Dizzy: Wheeler and Dizzy are very good friends. Dizzy has far more patience for Wheeler than she does for most people even though Wheeler arguably causes the most trouble for her since she is a limit pusher. They both like to test new creations on the other, with Wheeler handing over tinctures for enhancement or stabilization and Dizzy handing over items to test in the field. Wheeler has a crush on Dizzy that doesn't seem to ever completely go away even though it has supposedly been impressed upon her multiple times that Dizzy isn't the dating type.


• Marshall: One of Wheeler's earliest contracts when she was first sticking her muzzle in to criminal business. The two are friends and Marshall, like many of the clients in her bar, would probably kill someone for hurting Wheeler because "she's good people."


• Marigold: A previous employer. They split on friendly enough terms, though Wheeler knows better than to trust he'll never try to call in a favor. Wheeler is as well trained as she is thanks to the Obituaries and knows her way around a fight thanks to the Undertakers.


• Gal'Resh: First her teacher, then her friend. Gal'Resh met Wheeler as the experienced Undertaker assigned to training her. When Wheeler lost her nerve for the idea of becoming an honest to Gods assassin around the time Melorin was pressuring him to get away from Marigold he ended up walking from employment at The Morgue with her. For a time they were attached at the hip, but they started growing more distant when Melorin and Gal'Resh got more serious and Wheeler was spending more time with her previous partner.

Family Ties

Tinley is her twin brother. She's older on all accounts, having been laid first and both pipping and zipping before him. They are both mixed heritage dragonborn that turned out to resemble their green half more than their red half. Both are intelligent, though Tinley has more far more focus and far less physical ability. He's the thinker and she's the do-er.

Social Aptitude

Wheeler charms the fuck out of most anyone she meets. She's the kind of eccentric that catches one off-guard and cements her in hearts and minds fast. She has also built a lot of good will in her previous social circles that benefits the Copper Fangs, and she operates with clearly stated and offered honor among thieves.

Hobbies & Pets

Wheeler's alchemical experiments are technically a hobby, with the obtaining and inventorying of supplies being her primary job.
