A scar on the back of his right hand that aligns with a scar on the right side of his head. While on a family merchant ship a rope snapped. If it weren't for his fast reflexes blocking his face, he'd have likely lost an eye when the rope came whipping at his face.

A family signet ring that he can't seem to part with, but he turns it around so the crest is in his palm.
