A family man without a family. Breaker is past his prime, but plenty strong. He spends his remaining days finding new ways to kill his enemies and protect his friends.

John Drucker was a family man working security.
 
He lived in a small settlement on a remote outpost called Felicity Colony. Mostly hydro-farmers, shapers, and ore siphoners. The occasional trader would pass through to bring necessary supplies and trade for the strange molecules Felicity Colony collected from their atmospheric turbines.
 
John had a family, friends, a life there - until the energy beings came. Long thin golden creatures that seemed to be made of pure killing light. They arrived out of nowhere, no weapon could harm them, and they killed with a touch. John was on patrol near a remote atmo-siphon half a day's journey from the settlement and returned to find everyone burned out and dead. He's reviewed the security footage, he knows what did it, now he just needs to track them down and figure out how to kill them.
 
In the mostly undisturbed remains of the settlement John found few clues. The creatures took nothing, they didn't seem to destroy anything either, they just killed. He did find, however, a small glass fuse that had somehow become charged with a glowing golden energy which he now carries with him always.
 
John was rescued when Carrion's ship crash-landed near Felicity Colony to repair and re-supply. By that point, Carrion and Janko were already travelling together and John signed on as a guard hoping to find something out there to offer hope. Later, they met Orion in their travel who spoke of golden beings attacking near Hephaestus. How has that station survived? Do they have a clue? Are the beings still there? Orion joined up and together they plan to find out.
 
Kya Blaze joined last looking for a way to travel and trading her extensive knowledge of the lore of the world. Her quest is her own.
