Sark

Backstory: The first thing he remembers is from when he was a child. He's not certain how old he was, and there was nothing but fire and destruction all around him and a strange sky above him, unlike the blue one that he currently spends his days under. Before and after that are completely blank. Where his memory picks up is when he was 18. He was alone on the streets of a city(you can decide which one) without any idea of how he got there or where he came from. The only thing he knew for certain was his name. He lived as an orphan for 2 years. During these 2 years he experienced cruelty from the citizens who ostracized him due to his infernal heritage. There were a few, however, that extended kindness towards him. Maybe that's what kept him from going down a darker path, he'll never really know. After 1 year he was finally capable enough to leave the city and wander the lands, living off of what the world had placed before him. After 3 years of travelling(passing through towns, sometimes staying there, often staying in the woods), he eventually had a chance encounter with a group of 3 travelers. Lysan, a firbolg male, Creet, a human male, and Rea, a wood elf female. These 3 took him in for a time after exchanging various stories about each others pasts and travels. During the few months they were together, it was revealed that his 3 new companions were druids. They decided to pass on their knowledge and once Sark became accustomed to his new abilities, they went their separate ways, hoping that one day fate would bring their paths back together. As he wandered and practiced his new abilities, a small village he was passing by was under attack by an unknown entity known only as the "Burning Man". He intervened, and after subduing it with his druidic magic, there was a strange moment of complete calm followed by a strange sense of understanding. He and the elemental bonded their souls together, becoming one. Imagine the flame atronachs from skyrim except the figure is more masculine and instead of molten rock its "skeleton" was made of gnarled branches that are constantly growing and burning away. Since this time he has used the powers obtained after this bond to protect and promote life. It's been many months since this has happened and while he is fairly content with his life, he seeks a greater purpose, knowing that he is capable of much more than the wandering caretaker role he has been in for some time.
