Asbelio was once very loved and cared about by the Aasimar, and he loved them all back. However, Asbelio thought there was a way to use the dark arts against the darkness. One day, Asbelio was caught performing a dark art. He tried to tell them about his plan, but there was no talking to them. They were so enraged that he was dabbling in the dark arts to even listen to him. Because of this (and because of his exile) he was heartbroken. How could the people he once loved do this to him. How could they leave him for dead, without even waiting to hear his side of the story. Originally he felt sorrow. This sorrow quickly turned to rage. His rage was so immense, that is caught the eyes of the demon prince Demogorgon. Demogorgon (seeing an opportunity) offered him a deal. He would give Asbelio immense power, and help him eradicate all of the Aasimar in his home town. In exchange, Asbelio would go on to do all that Demogorgon asked, and give Demogorgon his soul. Asbelio, (being enraged) took Demogorgons deal. This sealed the fate of Asbelio, and made him into the very thing he swore to destroy. He was now an agent of darkness. After one month of travel, Demogorgon gave Asbelio his first task. It was to wipe out the city of Quod Puritas, his birthplace. He did so without any trouble, because he knew of the weak points in the city. He was also well trained (by the master of the guard) and had more fighting experience. He quickly noticed, however, that his mothers feather was getting heavier per kill. This was where he realized, that he was becoming less and less of an Aasimar. This troubled him a little. It was then that he realized, that he did not care if he was no longer an Aasimar. He hated them. He wanted to be another creature. He no longer wanted to be an Aasimar. This is when it happened. His wings turned blacker than midnight, and his skin turned white as snow. His hair turned the same as his wings, and he felt more powerful than ever before. He then used his new power. The Necrotic cloak. It was great. He had immense power in this new form. He burned the entire city to the ground, leaving only one survivor (a small boy) to tell the tale. The next day, Demogorgon gave him another task. It was to observe this city, by infiltrating it, making friends with the people of the city, and then if the religion currently there was not destroyed by the end of the year, he would have to move on, and demogorgon would “take care of the rest”. When Asbelio entered the village, everyone immediately took notice of who he was. Knowing of his dark power,(and that he wiped out his hometown) they tried to kill him. He ran, until he was pulled in by a baker. The baker said that he could help him, and that they needed his help too. This is where the story truly begins.
