Fell in love with Siobhan, Daughter of Áed, a minor lord of the Tamarian court, but lost her to Kei Ozaki. Newly crowned 17 year old Emperor of the Idaina Tochi Empire. When Kei looked Siobhan's way, her father thought him the much better match due to the power and prestige of the empire. They married when Kei was 20 and Siobhan was 17, one year after their courtship began. This enraged Zhou's father, who's rage only subsided with his son's marriage to Caedra, The middle child of the Tamarian Elven queen. However, this was largely a political match, and Zhou did not love his beautiful elven wife.
It took 5 years to complete his military training, and 4 tries to find a dragon to pair with that worked well with him.
