Aisma has quite a few mechanical implants besides her arm, the second most prominent of these is running down the entire length of her spine.

Aisma's left arm has been removed in its entirety and replaced with a mechanical one. The scientists who experimented on her were hoping to imbue her with magical abilities, but they clearly failed in this attempt, or did they?

Personal history

* Aísma can't remember anything before the experiments she was subjected to as a child.
 
* The Vasilíad house “obtained” Aísma and her twin brother, Ahure (along with many others) in hopes of creating perfect soldiers for their plan of staging a coup against the local government
 
 
 
* Ahure found a way to escape and promised to bring her along, but complications arose, and he chose to leave her behind promising he would return for her one day, but he never did.
 
* when Aísma was in her mid-teens, she underwent an operation to implant her mechanical arm, an event she barely survived.
 
About five years ago the Vasilíad put their plans into motion and began their coup, Aísma had been trained in infantry for this day and would fight on the battlefield, but this never ended up coming to fruition as the organization the house was trying to overthrow got wind of their Machinations and launched an attack on the Vasilíad’s compound.Aisma was one of many older and younger soldiers directly deployed that day to defend the Vasilíad family.
 
* about 12 days into the siege and the loss of many of the Vasilíad's “children” Aísma found an opportunity to escape and was forced to come to the exact same choice that had been presented to her brother. A. Return here with others in hopes that they can escape as well, or B. Escape now! You might not have this chance again. Aísma, like her brother before her, took the latter.
 
* Aísma wandered the world for around a year hoping to get as far as she could get from the Vasilíad’s “Sanctuary” and eventually settled down in a town. She did various odd jobs to sustain herself in this new place and was eventually able to afford some housing after living on the streets for a while, the other byproduct of this is that she is in fairly good standing with most of the other residents.
 
* Recently Aísma has heard rumblings, and dissonant whispers that members of the Vasilíad house may have survived the siege and are beginning their plans anew. Whether these rumors are true or not, Aísma must investigate and stop others from becoming like her.

Education

Along with the standard amount of education taught today, The majority of Aisma's education entailed military tactics and history.

Employment

She does odd jobs around the town she resides in to make a living, however she's recently abandoned this pursuit and begun hunting for information on any lead regarding the survival of the Vasilíad house.

Failures & Embarrassments

During the Vasiliad house's failed coup Aisma found an opportunity to escape during the chaos but instead of telling the others she ran. Aisma left her comrades, no brothers and sisters, to die.

Motivation

I’m driven by very few motives; the most important of these I strive for is “Survive.” If I die, my comrades sacrifices will be in vain. I will do anything to reclaim the other half of my life that was stolen from me. I’m also seeking closure on a number of things, such as: who was I before the experiments? Who are my parents? Where’s Ahure now? What happened to the other “children” of the Vasilíad, or am I the last one? Where are the remaining members of the Vasilíad family? Despite the fact that I have no time for “Life’s” pleasures, I would like to learn how to play an instrument as I love music despite what I tell people.

Aisma is an individual guided by her past. She doesn’t trust others so much so that it can be considered a fault by many. Aisma is paranoid, constantly in a state of being on edge feeling as if someone is out to get her, this causes her to be very jumpy. Aisma will do anything to find a cure for her condition, whether that be through money or any other means necessary Aisma has a fear of surgical equipment, and would prefer to dress her own wounds. Aisma is also quite awkward in social situations and can be very blunt when talking to people. Aisma's unchecked fury with the Vasiliad house often causes her to lose focus and lash out at the mere mention of their name.

Personality Quirks

Aisma is an individual that is terrible at lying, as such she will often avoid speaking when asked a question she does not want to answer. In the case she were to be pressured in to answering, she has been known to lash out at others. Aisma often pulls on her sleeves when nervous, to her the mechanical arm is a mark of shame, something that says “You belong only to the Vasilíad house.”

Aísma tends to pull on her left sleeve when nervous as if trying to hide the fact that she has a mechanical arm. She also tends to fidget with the various straps on her scabbard. Has a tendency to stand at attention when being addressed (an old habit she picked from her training as a soldier.) Aísma tends not to make eye contact when being spoken to and will usually divert her gaze to another nearby portion of the speaker's face to give the illusion that she is maintaining eye contact.

To many Aisma life seems extremely boring due to her lack of any real hobbies beside trying to understand why the experiments she was subjected to failed to give her any connection to the arcane. Aisma, however, is perfectly content at the moment with her "hobby"
